In the newly released episode, Lois talks to a panel of three women about their fight with breast cancer and the fear surrounding this life-changing experience.
The latest panel brings together Teresa Howard, Sha Butz, and Laurie Anderson to share their experiences with the disease and guide those looking to how they can fight it too.
Around 13% of women in the USA will develop invasive breast cancer at some point in their lifetime, and while the death rate is slowly decreasing in women over 50, it is still the most lethal form of cancer for American women. The Giant Builders have created this new episode to discuss these issues with survivors of breast cancer, and to extend support to those still fighting.
Throughout the episode, Lois Wyant and the panel discuss the journey these women have been through all the way from going for their first tests and accepting their diagnoses, to undergoing surgery and living with cancer, to the importance of family and friends for support and the relief of recovery.
Podcast episodes are released every Tuesday and center around the four building blocks of life. These are spirituality, the opening of the heart; health, the state of complete emotional, mental, social, and physical wellbeing; family, the single most important influence on a child’s life; and business, where people work together in an organization.
Each week Lois discusses a different topic related to one of the above, inviting expert guests to give their insight. Previous topics have included book reviews and tips for business owners. These episodes are available on Google Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Podchaser, Breaker, Podcast Addict, Player FM, Listen Notes, and Podcast Index.
The Giant Builders website also includes a blog, which is updated with motivational articles related to the four building blocks, such as “Healthy Tips When Life is Busy.”
Lois Wyant is an expert in web marketing and has been running the Giant Builders podcast since November 2021 to share her own and other people’s knowledge.
One podcast guest said that: “Lois was a delight during my interview. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease right away. She was very professional.”
